Information Integrity Watch: Sudan Monthly Insights

Information Integrity Watch: Sudan Monthly Insights is produced by Thomson Foundation as part of the FCDO-funded Sudan Digital Resilience Project. Published monthly, the reports provide independent, evidence-based analysis of the narratives, actors and tactics shaping Sudan’s information environment.

Each edition examines how misinformation, disinformation, hate speech and other forms of information manipulation interact with political, military, humanitarian and diplomatic developments. The reports also consider how narratives are produced and amplified across digital platforms, how online activity relates to events on the ground, and what these trends may mean for public understanding, civic space and the safety of journalists and communities.

Drawing on systematic monitoring and analysis, the reports identify emerging risks, significant shifts in the information landscape and areas requiring closer attention. They are intended to support media organisations, journalists, civil society organisations, researchers, policymakers and members of the international community working on Sudan with timely insights that can inform analysis, programming and decision-making.

Those for whom these insights are relevant are invited to request access to future editions. Please note that registration constitutes a request rather than automatic confirmation.
